WestJet has extended service between Calgary and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to now operate year-round.
The once seasonal route will continue to fly on WestJet’s 787 Dreamliner up to seven days per week during peak travel periods.
The route joins WestJet's existing year-round service to London from YYC Calgary International Airport, creating more opportunity for guests across Western Canada to access Europe every month of the year.
“By bolstering our intercontinental network with year-round flights to Paris, we are opening a new world of opportunity to leisure and business travellers destined for Europe,” said Chris Avery, vice-president, network planning, alliances and commercial development, at WestJet. “The success of our intercontinental destinations from YYC is only creating new and exciting ways for WestJet to connect Western Canadians with even greater access to Europe all through the convenience of direct travel.”
The addition of year-round service to Paris furthers WestJet’s longstanding codeshare partnership with Air France.
With access to connect through Air France to 22 additional European destinations, WestJet guests are eligible to continue earning WestJet Dollars throughout their entire journey as they travel to their preferred European destinations.
